Jaeger-leCoultre 309622 ´Sector dial´ from 1939
€ 1.800,00
Jaeger-leCoultre is best known for their iconic reverso watch, but JLC has a lot more to offer than just the simple rectangular watches. The Swiss watchmaking brand is famous for being one of the best watchmakers in the world on par with Patek and Audemars Piguet. This reputation is built on centuries of pristine movements, cases and designs and shines through in this amazing pre-world war 2 watch with a beautiful Sector dial.
This specific Jaeger-leCoultre is from 1939 and runs on the handwinding 469/A movement. This in-house movement is placed inside the 34mm stainless steel case. The dial has gathered a warm champagne color patina over its 80 year+ life and is in absolute mint condition. The Sector dial features Arabic numerals and a sunken sub dial for the seconds hand and has no lume. The blued sword hands line up perfectly with the hour and minute track at the rim of the watch. To top it all off is the domed crystal, creating a visibly satisfying look on this perfect dial. The condition of this watch is excellent for its age, with some small marks on the case and caseback.
What we love:
- Excellent condition for its age
- Amazing patina on the dial
What you should know:
- Watch comes without box and papers
